St Peter's Singers present an evening of music including Vaughan Williams
Fantasia on Christmas Carols, Soler Magnificat and other seasonal treats.
The venue is St Peter's Church, Black Lion Lane, W6, on Saturday 17 December

Tickets £8/£6 concessions. Doors open at 7.00 when mulled wine and mince pies will be available.

St Peter's Singers is a chamber choir based in Hammersmith whose repertoire
includes the mediaeval and modern, sacred and secular. Over the past few
years they have given performances in central London, at St Mark's in
Venice, St Peter's in Rome and at Notre Dame in Paris, collaborating with
groups such as I Fagiolini, His Majesty's Sagbutts and Cornetts and the
London Baroque Soloists.
Duncan Aspden, their Musical Director, works with a range of professional
and amateur ensembles as a conductor, organist and continuo player. He has
performed for BBC radio and television, made a number of recordings, and
directed choirs in concerts throughout Europe. He has won several prizes as
both conductor and organist, and has recently appeared in the London Handel
and Utrecht Early Music Festivals.
