Last four weeks; must close 27th August

The Vegemite Tales has completed an amazing 8-weeks to date at Riverside Studios, with every evening performance being sold out! So far over 7,000 people have seen the show during this 3-month season. The show is now set for its final four weeks, running until 27 August when it must close.

The audience re-action has been outstanding; without exception the feedback forms have positive enthusiastic comments. There has also been a great deal of interest from several television production companies who see the show as an ideal vehicle to portray an outsiders view of living in London, there is a good possibility Vegemite Tales may be around on the small screen in the not too distant future.

The vegemite delves into the lives of a group of young antipodeans colonising a West London flat, capturing what it¹s like to 'up sticks' and move to the other side of the world - Sam's thinking about going home, Maddie's thinking about Dan, Dan's thinking with the wrong head, Eddie's not really thinking at all, Gemma's facing the biggest decision of her stay in London and Jane just wants the toilet bowl to be clean.

This offbeat comedy began life in 2001 at Barons Court Theatre when there was not an empty seat in the house. Soon discovered by the antipodean community in London it became the cult show to see. It extended for another sell-out season, and then another and another and has subsequently enjoyed an unprecedented 33 sold out weeks on the London Fringe.
