If you're reading this you've stumbled across the site before we've really got going. As you can see there is still a lot of work to be done. However, as our visitors supply most of the information on the site we have made it "live" even though it is still a work in progress.

What is the site all about?
It is edited by Hammersmith residents and aims to be a comprehensive source of information on this area and this area alone.
We are still putting much of the information together and really appreciate any comments and views about local life. All our listings incorporate the views of local people.
What will it offer me?
Free classifieds, a moderated discussion forum, comprehensive restaurant listings, guides to local government and schools, the most complete online listing of local properties for sale and to let and, eventually a free newsletter packed with news and views on Hammersmith and only Hammersmith.
What do you give back to the community?
All non-profit, non-political community groups can have free web-pages set up for them. They can advertise for free (even when we start charging businesses) and promote their events for free.

Who writes all the articles?
You do. If you send us something on a local matter we will publish it. We have no editorial line on any issue. This site aims to represent both reasoned sides of any local discussion. If you want to express a view try using the forum. If you want to submit a more detailed article send it and associated pictures if any to editor@hammersmithtoday.co.uk
