Throughout christmas residents may still use the borough's community recycling sites at any time (see map of the borough's 51 community recycling sites), but the Christmas and New Year Refuse and SmartSack recycling times have been revised over the festive period.

From the 3rd to the 10th of January residents can recycle their Christmas trees at one of the three following sites:

· Woodmans Mews car park, access via Scrubs Lane, W12
· Hammersmith Park staff yard, access via South Africa Road, W12
· New Kings Road adjacent to Eel Brook Common, SW6 (near recycling
banks)

Trees collected will be chipped and used as mulch in parks across the brough. Alternatively you can take your tree to be shredded at the Hammersmith Community Garden Association event at Loris Garden, Loris Rd, W6 on Sunday 4th January, where there will be mincepie and listen to the Green Man and His Musicians.
