BEYOND PORN AT THE RIVERSIDE

Police give clearance for XXX, considered the most sexually explicit show to be staged in the UK.


The Catalan group has toured XXX in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy and is due to open the show at the Riverside Studios next month.

Sex is present almost all the time during the 100 minutes of the show. This is because, according to La Fura Dels Bals producers, it is impossible to adapt Sade's work without explicit sex. And the audience can also share their sexual fantasies as they are invited to go on stage. The shiniest ones can just send TXT messages to be project on a giant screen.

The Metropolitan Police's Clubs and Vice Squad had viewed a video of XXX submitted by the Riverside Studios and have given clearance for the British premiere next month. According the Police, there is no evidence of evidence of any criminal offence. But officers will attend early performance of the show making sure the play is not breaking the law.

Riverside Studios will ban under 18s from admission.
