"Jovan is a very good decorator and has excellent general building, carpentry and plumbing skills with many years of experience." "We contracted Jovan to erect a Grosfillex garden shed and to build a base for it. He arrived very promptly to give us a quote and his price was quite competitive - he said he'd only charge for 1.5 days. However, when I phoned to confirm his start date he told me, apologetically, that he hadn't included materials in the cost and we'd have to pay extra for those. (He underestimated the costs of these by about 30%.) The work on the shed base was good. We were surprised to find out that he had planned to leave the untreated timber shuttering in place, but he was happy enough to remove it, and slope the edges instead, on request. Once Jovan saw the shed's complexity (we hadn't realised either), he said he couldn't do that part of the job unless we paid for an additional half day. Somewhat diffidently we agreed and he did do a good job, finishing in just over a half day in total. I might use the service again but only for smaller or more straight-forward jobs." |
