On Sunday 29th June, the renowned group You've Got A Friend will be playing at The Half Moon Putney.

You've Got A Friend is a special celebration of the songs of Carole King and James Taylor.

An evening honouring two iconic songwriters' music. It takes the audience on a journey from the early days of Carole's career, co-writing with her partner Gerry Goffin, to her later work with James Taylor. Throughout the show there are stories to accompany the songs.

The band features: Rebecca Turner (critically acclaimed, described her as the new Carole King) on keyboard / vocal, Michael Goulding ( top session guitarist / George Harrison in The Trembling Willburys band) on guitar / vocal, Tony Hammond on bass and Howard Tibble (Shakin' Stevens Band) on drums.

Audience members have often commented on the authenticity of the band's renditions, and how it brings back so many memories for them.
