Killer's brother on run after being shot
Police have launched a man-hunt for Earl White who fled after being shot by a police marksman.
The incident is believed to be unrelated to the recent conviction of White's brother, Elliot, who was recently convicted of the manslaughter of Chelsea banker John Monckton.
Earl White, who is also known as Earl Hall is 29 years old and police want to question him in connection with a string of crimes including robbery and aggravated burglary in the Hammersmith and Fulham area since August 2005. Crimestoppers are offering a £1000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
He is considered dangerous and the public is urged not to approach him but to call police on 999. He is known to carry a firearm.
On December 7th he was surrounded by armed policemen outside his mother's home in the area but got into his VW Golf car and accelerated away. One police officer shot at the car and unconfirmed reports suggest he was hit in the back. The car was later found dumped half a mile away. He remains at large but has not visited a hospital leading to fears his wound may become infected.
