Missing teenager and toddler found safe and well

The two cousins back at home with their families

18 month-old Ellie Johnson and her cousin Amy Jones, 17, missing from Fulham, have been found safe and well in Harrow.

Police were growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of the 18 month old girl and her 17 year old cousin who were missing since Thursday July 27.

Baby Ellie was taken from her home in Lindrop Street in Fulham, by her 17 year old cousin Amy Jones during a family visit at approximately 15.00 on Thursday 27 July.
The girls were in the house with their grandmother when Amy took Ellie out. Amy took Ellie from the Fulham address and said she was going round to a neighbour's house.

Ellie Johnson

Speaking on Monday evening, Amy's mother and father said "Amy, we are all veryAmy Johnson worried for you and Ellie. We know that you love her and want the best for her. If you can, please contact anyone who can get the message to us that you are safe and well. We want to help you."

Local Police led by DCI Steve Hall made extensive enquiries with families and friends and were growing all the more concerned as Amy did not take any of the things needed to care properly for an 18 month old or herself for this length of time.

They thought it possible that Amy was scared to bring Ellie home and worried about the trouble she may be in.

No further details are available at present.
