Insecure metal awning on building by one-way system
Motorists are being urged to avoid the Hammersmith gyratory system as road closures are in place due to an unstable building in Queen Caroline Street/Hammersmith Broadway.
At around 5.30pm on Monday March 10 police were informed by London Fire Brigade of an insecure metal awning on a building on the Hammersmith one-way system.
The Hammersmith A4 flyover has been re-opened but there is no access to the Hammersmith gyratory system from the flyover.
There are closures on the southern side of the gyratory system and also traffic will not be able to access the gyratory system from the Fulham Palace Road.
On the northern side of the gyratory, traffic will be able to access Shepherd's Bush Road and Hammersmith Road but severe delays are anticipated throughout the day.
The closures are expected to be in place until at least early afternoon.
