Sam’s Riverside restaurant in Hammersmith has announced that they will be reopening on 4 July in line with government guidelines.

Owner Sam Harrison said, “It’s been way too long and we can’t wait to be trading again and able to welcome you through the doors.”

The restaurant will be open along with the new Terrace and Seafood Bar. Initially bookings will be taken for the inside tables with diners served al fresco if the weather allows.

Sam commented, “ Our first concern is the safety & wellbeing of our guests and team and therefore have carried out the required risk assessments and due diligence to make sure we are ready to open. But rest assured we won’t be losing any of our normal hospitality and magic and in fact we have been bottling it whilst closed!”

He has been working with head chef Harvey on a summer menu which they believe celebrates the best of British produce - trays of oysters, lobster rolls, summer salads and the new Sam’s Burger. Alongside there will be a new summer wine list with English sparkling by the glass and seasonal cocktails .

At present they are taking a limited number of reservations for each lunch and dinner service and a maximum table size of 6 people.

For July & August they will be open for lunch and dinner on Wednesdays through to Sunday and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

On Monday 29 June at 7pm they will be hosting a celebrity virtual quiz night hosted by Chiswick resident David Tennant and featuring Adam James and Suranne Jones from the Dr Foster TV series.

There will be 5 rounds, each containing 7 questions each, and participants will have the chance to win a range of exciting prizes including food hampers, cinema vouchers for the Riverside Studios and of course a meal for four at Sam’s Riverside.

Tickets are £25 and part of the proceeds will be going to a charity that Sam supports, The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust.
