Strike ends this evening with service back to normal on Thursday
The current tube strike will end at 8.59pm on Wednesday but TfL saying a normal service will be resumed on Thursday morning.
In the meantime, TfL is urging customers travelling this evening to check before they set off at tfl.gov.uk and by following @TfLTravelAlerts, @TfLTrafficNews and @TfLBusAlerts on Twitter.

Heathrow Express plans to run two trains an hour between Heathrow and Paddington and back.

The strike began on Monday evening after talks between Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union & London Underground (LU) failed after only two hours and both parties left the conciliatory service Acas.
The union say the strike is necessary to prevent ticket office closures which they believe compromise safety.

A second strike is due to take place from 9pm on Monday May 5. This strike action will take place ahead of a May Day event in memory of former RMT leader Bob Crow, who died of a suspected heart attack on March 11, aged 52. The event will also be in remembrance of Tony Benn, the politician and campaigner who died several days after Mr Crow.
