And help to celebrate the International Day of Peace
Members of the local community are invited to light a candle to mark the International Day of Peace today, Wednesday September 21 at a special event in Hammersmith.
The commemoration begins at 3.30pm where you can sign a book of peace in Lyric Square.
The day was founded by the UN in 1981 to promote and strengthen the ideals of peace among all nations.
The event was organised by H&F Mayor, Cllr Mercy Umeh.
School children from across H&F will be joined by Met Police borough commander, Chief Superintendent Gideon Springer, as well as faith leaders and representatives from community groups.
A singer will perform at the end of the event which is expected to finish at 4.30pm.
