Ian Buckley is Back at Barons Court Theatre

Popular playwright returns with REALIFE TV about the media machine

Ian Buckley is back at the Barons Court Theatre.

Audiences who enjoyed his previous plays, Picasso's Artful Occupation and The Tailors' Last Stand, will be delighted to see him return with a new play, REALIFE TV.

This time Ian brings an absorbing play dealing with a dynamic young film-maker, Angela, whose assignment is the case of the man with the missing past. She soon finds all is not what it seems and dangerous events threaten to overwhelm her.

This new play deals with the relationship between a media machine hungry for stories and the ordinary people who are their fodder. Based on real events, he paints a picture of talented film-makers who struggle to reconcile their desire to do good with their need for a good story.

REALIFE TV runs from May 17 till May 29, from Tuesdays to Saturdays at 7.30pm and Sundays at 6.30pm, with matinees on Saturdays at 2.30pm. It is suitable for ages 15 and above.
