'Magically Twisted' Coming of Age Story with Puppets

Flumps to be performed at the Barons Court Theatre

The Barons Court Theatre

The London premiere of a production that was originally staged at the Brighton Fringe is coming to the Barons Court Theatre this month.

FLUMPS from Hoo Hah House Productions is described as a magically twisted & truthful coming of age story.

It promises an extravaganza of noughties beats, dark comedy & a hint of problematic puppetry, bursting with wacky plot twists and eccentric realities.

Our hysterical yet heroic siblings, Harvey (13) and Felicity (8), find themselves spending an extraordinary, Tracy Beaker-like summer of freedom after their mum’s disappearance.

It was written by Emma Pallett, who also plays Felicity, and directed by Everleigh Brenner with Susie Coutts appearing as Harvey.

Hoo Hah House Productions, was founded by Everleigh Brenner and Maria Cristina Petitti, and strives to focus on stories through the lens of the female gaze. They are a movement based theatre company that asks audiences to see beyond their everyday horizon.

The play lasts for around 70 minutes and runs from 24 to 28 August with matinee performances on the final weekend.

Tickets cost £14 or £12 for concessions and can be purchased on the Barons Court Theatre website.
