The Andy Murray Area at The Queen's Club
June 1, 2026
The Queen’s Club will throw open its gates on Sunday 7 June for a lively day of tennis, challenges and family-friendly fun as the HSBC Championships Opened Up returns to West Kensington. The event offers a rare chance to see top WTA players up close on the Andy Murray Arena, alongside a programme designed to make elite tennis feel welcoming, informal and accessible.
From 10am, spectators can explore the grounds as qualifying matches get underway on the outside courts. The main action begins at 12.30pm, when leading women’s players take to the Andy Murray Arena for a live practice session, followed by a light-hearted doubles exhibition featuring special guests. The afternoon rounds off with a series of tennis challenges that bring players and fans together in a relaxed, playful setting.
The day is being staged in aid of the LTA Tennis Foundation, with 100% of net profits supporting the charity’s work to widen participation and remove barriers to the sport. In keeping with that mission, the event is deliberately family-focused: children aged 5–16 go free when accompanied by a paying adult, and even babes in arms and under-5s are welcome in the arena for this day only.
Tickets are priced at £25 for adults, with up to five adult and five child tickets available per booking. Entry also includes access to the day’s qualifying rounds, giving visitors a full programme of tennis across the club’s courts.
With its mix of elite athletes, exhibition play and a warm community atmosphere, the HSBC Championships Opened Up offers a rare, relaxed introduction to one of London’s most historic sporting venues — and a chance to support grassroots tennis at the same time.
