The Man Behind The Smile

Count Arthur Strong at Riverside Studios

Count Arthur Strong ‘The Man Behind The Smile’ at Riverside Studios Tue 17 – Sun 22 Feb

Count Arthur Strong makes his return to the London stage after the continued huge successes of his BBC Radio 4 comedy series and recent run at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

He is a fictional comedy character created by the comedian Steve Delaney; and is an elderly pompous out-of-work deluded thespian from the North of England who is challenged by attention deficit disorder and memory loss.

Count Arthur is now back to entertain Riverside audiences in February (Tue 17 – Sun 22) with his new critically acclaimed show The Man Behind The Smile. Enjoy this unique comedy persona that has been compared to such greats as Steve Coogan’s Alan Partridge and Barry Humphries’ Dame Edna Everage.
