FrightFest 2016 is a horror film extravaganza taking place daily over the Bank Holiday weekend until August 29 at the VUE Cinema in the West 12 Shopping on Shepherd's Bush Green.
From grindhouse to art-house, feel-good to squeal-good, blockbuster to ghostbuster, FrightFest returns in all its gory glory.
In its 17th year, the world renowned genre film festival presents 62 new feature films, embracing sixteen countries and bringing together established filmmakers, British first-timers and emerging international visionaries from six continents.
Highlights include the Italian supercar tension-ratcheting Monolith, gory Dutch offering The Windmill Massacre, South Africa nightmare Grom a House on Willow Street, Tricia Lee's creefy Canadian chiller Blood Hunters and three American shockers Knucklebones, Enclosure and the remake of Blood Feast.
On the closing night FrightFest presents the UK Premiere of Train to Busan, inviting viewers to join the ' Commuting Dead’ on director Sang-ho Yeon's thrill-ride.
Tickets, priced from £14 for a single ticket or £30 for a day ticket can be booked online and walk-up tickets are also availble at the cinema throughout the event.
