Christmas Comes to Starch Green on Wednesday

Meet Santa and his reindeer and see the lights turned on from 3.30pm

Hammersmith Community Gardens Association is teaming up with Askew Busines Network to bring Christmas to Starch Green on Wednesday 11 December between 3.30pm and 5.30pm.

Join them for all things Christmas and to turn on the tree lights at Starch Green, north of Ravenscourt Park.

There will be carol singing with Father Christmas in his grotto, his elves and suitably snowy scenes, plus bauble and wreath making, performers, roasted chestnuts and some surprises for all.

The theme of this year's big seasonal event is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, with these handsome beasts appearing as guests of honour.

The organisers say they would love more carol singers to join the throng and add that there is still time for volunteers to email info@askewbusiness.co.uk.

It will be followed by Christmas on the Farm, taking place at Phoenix School Farm on Saturday 14 December, from 11am till 3pm, with activities including wreathmaking, plus other seasonal decorations and gifts, and seasonal refreshments.
