Teenage Boy Stabbed to Death Off North End Road


Police called this afternoon to attack in Lanfrey Place in West Kensington

They were called at 2.14pm to Lanfrey Place, which is west of North End Road next to Waitrose, after receiving reports that a person had been stabbed.

Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene and North End Road was closed to traffic.

Police say a male in his late teens was found with stab injuries to the chest.

He was taken to a central London hospital but sadly died a short time later.

Next of kin have been informed.

A crime scene remains in place, with both North End Road and surrounding roads closed to traffic.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command have been informed.

Police say at this early stage there have been no arrests and enquiries continue.

Following the incident, B317 North End Road was closed in both directions between Charleville Road and Mund Street, with traffic slow on diversion in the West Kensington & Fulham areas, especially eastbound on Lillie Road and on north bound on Finborough Rd.

At 6.30pm, North End Road has been reopened but traffic is slow in both directions.
