Increased number of seats for ruling party in Council

During what looks generally like having been a disappointing night for the Conservatives, the result in London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is likely to give them some solace.

The ruling Tory group under Stephen Greenhalgh increased the number of seats they hold on the Council. The policy of op politicians, including Gordon Brown and David Cameron, have chosen Hammersmith as one of the first places to visit during the General Election campaign.
