Come to Free Trades and Jobs Fair on Thursday

Jobhunters invited to West Kensington Tenants Hall

Anyone looking for a job or some support finding their perfect career is invited to come along to a free Trades and Jobs Fair this on Thursday.

Residents will be able to find out all about the latest jobs, training and employment opportunities at the drop-in event, which is taking place at West Kensington Tenants Hall, in Lillie Road, Fulham, on Thursday September 11 between 10am and 3pm.

Visitors to the free jobs fair can learn about a variety of different career paths and personal development opportunities, including building and construction, office work, security and logistics - as well as apprenticeships and volunteering.

The fair is being run by Hammersmith & Fulham Council and City of Westminster College.

H&F Council's cabinet member for economic development and regeneration, Cllr Andrew Jones, says: "This reflects the council's strong commitment to open doors for local people looking to step into the world of work - whether they are returning to the workplace or embarking on a new career."

There will also be advice on offer about welfare, benefits and personal finance matters.

Anyone attending the Trades and Jobs Fair should bring their CV and any construction tickets or cards they may hold.
