Monday April 23 is World Book Night - an annual celebration of books and reading, when tens of thousands of volunteers gift a total of a million books to their communities in order to share their love of the printed page.

Hammersmith Library is taking part in the celebration with a  visit from the World Book Night routemaster bus between 5pm and 6pm.

Local peopls will have a chance to meet author Sophie Kinsella, whose latest bestseller I've Got Your Number has recently been published.

Visitors will also be able to receive a free World Book Night book from a World Book Night book giver and watch
live streaming World Book Night events from the Southbank Centre.
