Choice of screenings this week in local parks

Fancy catching a film without having to sit in a cinema?

Outdoor movies in our local parks have become an annual late summer tradition, and this week you can see five films at three different locations.

At Fulham Palace, the last of three Thursay night screenings from outdoor cinema specialists The Nomad features Oscar winner The Artist on Thursday, September 20 at 7.45pm, which doors opening at 6.30pm. Tickets are priced from £8.50 to £12.50 and you can buy tickets here.

At Ravenscourt Park, Pop Up Screens are showing Leon, about the unlikely relationship between a 12 year-old girl and a professional assassin on Saturday September 15 andthe Michael J Fox classic Back the the Future on Sunday September 16.  Screenings are at 8.30pm with doors opening at 7pm and tickets cost £8 each.

On September 22 and 23, the movie action moves to Fulham's South Park, where Pop Up Screens are presenting Toy Story on Saturday and as a climax to the season, one of this year's biggest films, The Dark Knight on Sunday. Again, doors open at 7pm with movies starting at 8.30pm and tickets cost £8 each.

There will be a fully stocked bar on site and hot food will be available from Van Dough, a mini pizzeria with a wood fire oven in a van, as well as popcorn freshly popped by London Kettle Popcorn.
