Post Office Reopens in King Street

Newly modernised branch open all day on Saturdays

The newly modernised Post Office branch on Hammersmith's King Street, Hammersmith reopened this week after an extensive refurbishment.

Now providing a modern environment for customers the popular branch, opposite Hammersmith Town Hall, reopened on November 26.

The revamped branch has all the same products as before, with the addition of car tax, and is open until 5.30pm on Saturdays, instead of the old closing time of 12.30pm.

Earlier this month the council announced that Hammersmith & Fulham residents can go to any Post Office in the country to pay council bills instead of going online or having to make their way to a council building.

H&F residents are now able to pay for a range of council services at any major Post Office in the UK - including 17 branches in the borough and the new look King Street branch.

Residents can now make payments for things like: council tax; homecare, council rent and service charges at whichever Post Office is most convenient.
