Hammersmith's Summer Festival Continues Today in Lyric Square

Watch a live production of A Doll's House on the Big Screen or share a mindful moment

Head for Lyric Square this evening, Wednesday 26 July, at 7pm to enjoy a free live production of Ibsen's A Doll’s House.

This production was captured live at the Young Vic Theatre, London in July 2012, and is being presented on the square's Big Screen by Digital Theatre.

Olivier Award-winning playwright Simon Stephens (Punk Rock), Young Vic associate director Carrie Cracknell (Elektra) and Tony Award-winning designer Ian MacNeil (Billy Elliot) create this compelling new version of Ibsen’s masterpiece.

A Doll’s House features Hattie Morahan (star of the BBC’s Sense and Sensibility and Outnumbered) and Dominic Rowan (seen on Law & Order: UK and the Royal Court Theatre’s The Village Bike).

Tonight's play is part of Hammersmith's annual Summer Festival which is continuing this week with the opportunity to join a giant picnic or a mindful moment.

Local people are invited to unwind during lunchtime by sitting outside in the fresh air and basking in the Summer Festival atmosphere.

You can come and soak up the sun in the HammersmithLondon deckchairs or eat your lunch on our giant 20ft long picnic tables.

The final Picnic in the Square takes place from 12pm till 3pm today, Wednesday 26 July.

And for the first time during Hammersmith's Summer Festival, Lumi Foundation is launching Mindful Moments.

These mindfulness sessions, led by a yoga teacher, are designed to help you stop, relax and breathe as well as improving focus and wellbeing. Join in the free sessions on Lyric Square today, 26 July at 12.30pm, 1pm and 1.30pm.
