Cargiant is expanding its plant in Hythe Road
500 new jobs are being created in the Willesden and White City area, with the expansion of independent car dealership Cargiant.
The dealership says its plans to extend storage capacity at its plant in Hythe Road, NW10 will bring significant economic benefits for the area.
The £14 million extension comes in the form of three multi-level vehicle storage car parks, which will increase productivity and allow for 24 hour working in the car plant.
Cargiant says this expansion in the areas of refurbishment, restoration and vehicle preparation will create an estimated 500 permanent jobs in West London, with over two thirds of its existing 600 strong workforce living within seven and a half miles of the site.
Alongside the expansion, Cargiant is also set to announce 50 new apprenticeships in partnership with North West London College.
The expansion comes alongside plans to regenerate the area in future with the arrivial of the HS2 interchange, led by the Greater London Authority and Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
