HammersmithToday.co.uk, the local news site for the Hammersmith area, is seeing continued growth in the number of members getting thousands of visitors each month.

For some reason the people of Hammersmith seem more reluctant to have their say. Whereas our sites in Acton, Ealing, Chiswick and Putney have very active forums, Hammersmith is the quietest in our group based on the number of members which is now over 2,000.

We know Hammersmith is not a community where apathy reigns and there are so many important issues such as hospital closures, the super-sewer, high-rise development in town which people are really concerned about. We think it would be great if, as in other areas, these concerns were more reflected on the local forum.
