SingWest’s annual Christmas concert returns to St Peter’s Church in Hammersmith on Monday 15 December, promising a festive evening of music and post-show cheer at the local pub.
The SingWest Community Choir, an inclusive group of local singers, will host their Christmas concert at St Peter’s Church, Black Lion Lane, W6. The evening begins with drinks at 7:00pm, followed by the concert at 7:30pm, and a celebratory gathering at The Cross Keys pub just across the road.
Founded by three friends who love music and community, SingWest welcomes everyone—whether you can read music or not, and whether you sing like a pro or just enjoy joining in. Their weekly rehearsals are held every Monday during term time at St Peter’s, and the choir blends contemporary, folk, and choral music under the guidance of their music director.
This year’s concert marks the culmination of the autumn term and continues a tradition that’s become a seasonal highlight. The choir’s relaxed ethos and uplifting repertoire make it a perfect antidote to the stress of the season, and the post-concert pub visit is as much a part of the experience as the music itself.
Expect a mix of festive favourites and unexpected gems, performed in the beautiful surroundings of the Grade II-listed church. The event is free to attend, and donations to support the church are welcomed.
No booking required—just turn up, enjoy the music, and raise a glass afterwards.
