A Butcher of Distinction a dark comedy by Rob Hayes is opening shortly at the Barons Court Theatre.

The show is produced by Just A Regular House productions, directed by Macadie Amoroso and runs from 1 to 12 November, playing Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm.

Two orphaned twins are forced out of the rural wilderness they know and into a bleak, brutal London that they don’t. Seeking refuge in a dank pub basement, they begin to plan their escape, only to find themselves locked in a nightmarish battle with a grieving stranger over their dead father’s sordid legacy.

The cast is Connor McCrory, Ethan Reid and Joseph Ryan-Hughes.

Tickets cost £16 or £14 for concessions and can be bought online or by calling the Box Office on 07833 913760

Avocado Presents is created by Hamza Mohsin and Jacob Migicovsky and is an improvised play; a brand new one act play created in front of the audience every week as part of their residency at the Barons Court and all underscored live and ‘in the moment’ by their stage DJ.

Every Thursday night, best friends Hamza and Jake discover characters, scenes and storylines on the spot, without the faintest idea what might happen next.

The pair started as a monthly night in 2019 at the Etcetera Theatre and have since performed on Soho Radio, at The Vaults Festival, Copenhagen Improv Festival, Hen and Chickens, and The Free Association to name a few. Over lockdown the duo released an improvised comedy album, titled THE AVOCADO TAPES, available on Spotify, Youtube, and iTunes.

Alongside their current production, Hamza and Jake are prepping their debut feature film The Blue Nightingales, with Oscar and BAFTA winning producers.

The shows start at 9pm lasting for an hour and tickets are £10.

The Barons Court Theatre is below the Curtain's Up Pub at 28a Comeragh Road, London W14 9HR.
