The Made in H&F pop-up shop is set to reopen in September at Livat Hammersmith, following a nine-month run at the Hammersmith Broadway Shopping Centre. The initiative, which supports small local businesses and independent makers, is now inviting applications from new and returning traders ahead of its relaunch.
Located near Sainsbury’s within the Livat mall, the shop will continue to offer a curated selection of locally made and sourced products, including art, jewellery, ceramics, home décor, and accessories. The deadline for trader applications is Friday 29 August at 1pm.
Originally launched in November 2024 through a partnership between Hammersmith & Fulham Council, the Broadway Shopping Centre, and The Artist’s Window, the shop provided a platform for over 80 local creatives who were not previously represented on the high street. During its initial run, the store generated more than £82,700 in revenue and was well received by shoppers.
The reopening forms part of wider efforts to support local enterprise and revitalise retail spaces in the borough. Councillor Zarar Qayyum, Cabinet Member for Enterprise and Skills, said the initiative reflects the council’s commitment to increasing visibility for small businesses on H&F’s high streets.
Andrew Proctor, community engagement lead at Livat Hammersmith, welcomed the shop’s return, noting its role in promoting creativity and community engagement. The project has also received backing from the Mayor of London, Hammersmith BID, and The Artist’s Window.
Livia Caruso, director at Hammersmith BID, described the shop’s success as a model for enhancing the high street and making use of underutilised retail units. A spokesperson from The Artist’s Window added that the initiative offers local artists a meaningful platform to share their work and connect with the public.
The store is expected to reopen to shoppers in early September. Further details and application information are available via the Made in H&F website.
