Efficient Stationers on King Street
December 30, 2024
Efficient Stationers, a family-run business in Hammersmith, which has been serving the community since 1986 has closed down. The last day of trading was Christmas Eve.
The owners of the business at 364 King Street have decided to retire, with ‘a heavy heart’ and, in a message to customers, the Sethi family expressed its gratitude for the support received over the last 38 years.
A post from Raj, Asha, Anousha, Addie and family says, “We want to express our sincere gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the years.
“Serving the community has been an honour, and we appreciate the relationships we have built with all of you.
“Thank you for being loyal customers, friends, and neighbours.”
Initially known as 'Efficient Commercial Stationers and Services', the store also operated as a newsagent. Recognizing a local need for stationery supplies, they rebranded to 'Efficient Stationers' in 1987, focusing solely on stationery and offering free next-day delivery to local businesses.
Its commitment to the community was acknowledged in 2018 when they received a 'Highly Commended' award as the Best Independent High Street Business by Hammersmith and Fulham's Brilliant Business awards.
