Everyone recognises the postcard of 'An Irish Donkey' produced by John
Hinde (Postcard Co.) in the early 1960s. Hinde's famous images of Ireland,
its donkeys, horse and traps, haystacks and landscapes have become famous
throughout the whole world. If you've got any old or new postcards depicting
Ireland, would you be willing to loan them to Irish Centre for this fascinating
exhibition? We need them!! So please can you send them to us, or contact

Pericles is a journey. At the beginning, there’s an old man with
a story to tell, and a young man with a riddle to solve. Fourteen years
later, after shipwrecks and resurrections, palaces and brothels, marriagebeds
and murders, the story is finally told; the journey has been made –
and the riddle is answered in a blaze of light.

13 Mics - Join Benji as he astral travels from bebop to hip-hop and all
stops in between,
accompanied by a 2 piece band and DJ. 13 Mics is an exploration of the
iconography of the
microphone. Using the hi-energy of freestyle popping, text and rap, Benji
works as a human
sampler to create a montage of the 20th-Century.
The Pugilist - Follow the path of two men on the same journey. Both are
trying to overcome their fears and truly live as free men.

Poland and Britain go back a long way. Chopin made his last public performance
in London before consumption finally killed him in 1848. In World War
II Poles streamed into Britain to escape Hitler. Many stayed and Hammersmith
is now one of the main centres of the Polish community. The Polish Centre
in King Street and St Andrews Church tucked behind the Goldhawk Road in
Hammersmith, are the cultural foci for a large and cohesive London Polish
community.
The Polish tour aims to give Londoners
a revealing glimpse of the spirited culture and fierce pride of London's
Poles. The tour will end up in the Polish Cultural Centre restaurant,
tasting a range of traditional, authentic Polish delicacies from mushroom
dumplings to wild boar pate. Vodka is an optional extra, with an impressive
array to choose from, including bison, pepper and rowan.

Lucy thinks she's finally cracked
the love thing - Joe, her handsome American boyfriend is moving over to

best friend Scarlet is on an endless carousel of losers, users and married

Kiwi Gabriel arrives in their midst and starts showing an unhealthy interest
